Our History
Vern Way was quite the icon in the City of Beacon. Many don't know he built what is now the V.R. Way football field and and field house from the ground up.
A local community man who was able to seek friends, family, coworkers, local unions, businesses and organizations to all contribute in any way they could. His hard work and dedication were like no other.
It meant more to him that the kids in our community had a place to come, feel safe, secure and supported while they played the game of football. The football program in Beacon was truly his passion and we want nothing more than to honor him and his endeavors while bringing back the sport to our community kids.
All Smiles Means All Fun!
That's what we strive for here at Beacon Youth Football. We want all our community kids to learn the game and have just a plain ol' blast doing so!
Fall is underway here at BYF
Our second season dabbling into the world of Tackle Football is officially kicked off! Thank you to all our members who have returned for another season and also a huge welcome to our newest members to Beacon Youth Football! Our season has officially kicked off with practices and games will be coming this September. We're excited to see where our Bulldogs take us this season. Many hav already gotten a taste for the pigskin and we're stoked to see what our newest pups add to the mix.
